You can bar channel users and subscribers from accessing services. Barring can be done for a single user at a time on the basis of the user mobile number. Barring can be specific to peer-to-peer or channel-to-peer transfers. Furthermore, users can be barred from making transfers or receiving transferred value.
To bar a user:
Masters > Bar user
The Add barred user screen is displayed.
From the Module drop-down list, select the name of the module for which the channel user or subscriber is to be barred.
From the User type drop-down list, select the type of barring to be done:
Sender: User cannot send talktime.
Receiver: User cannot receive talktime.
From Barring type, select the type of barring to be done.
In Mobile number, enter the mobile number of the channel user or subscriber to be barred.
In Name, enter the name of the user to be barred.
In Barred reason, enter the reason of barring the channel user or subscriber.
Click Submit.
Click Confirm to bar the channel user or subscriber. The system sends a message to the barred channel user or subscriber.
Note: You can bar a channel user from availing various PreTUPS services. However, ensure that the combination of Module, User Type, and Barring Type fields is unique.
