Channel User Management

Channel users perform the following operations to manage child channel users in their own hierarchy:

• View user hierarchy

• Add channel users

• Modify channel users

• Delete channel users

• Suspend channel user accounts

• Change the notification language

• Associate profiles

• Modify self details

• Change channel users' PINs

• Change self PIN

A channel user is associated with the following attributes:

• Web access: Channel users are granted a login ID and a password to access the Web interface of the system.

• Transaction information: Channel users are assigned mobile numbers (STK SIM) for transactions and PIN to access PreTUPS through STK menus.

• Geographical Domain: Channel users are assigned a geographical domain of operation.

• Services information: Channel users are granted access to all or specific services provided by the system.

• Roles information: Channel users are assigned specific roles.

Note: All new channel users require approval of their Channel Administrators.
